Hanging Out

Today I woke feeling much better after some serious jet lag. Unfortunately spending our first full day mostly in bed wasn’t the start that we had hoped for.

However with a good old cuppa tea this morning I was ready to explore.

We went to Mount Macadon to look at the views local to where my Australian family live. Followed by a walk and clamber over some great looking geology at Hanging Rock – it’s quite an eerie place.  It’s basically an outcrop of rocks formed from a volcanic plug and weathered over time.

It has been lovely to soak up some rays in the sunshine this afternoon – this photo sums up my current mood. Edd has always said I’m like a lizard and happiest when in the sunshine.
